Bright, bold colors and dynamic movement dominate the work of Patricia Fabian. Her scenes reflect her experience at the Jersey shore in its most brilliant summertime hues. Each painting captures a moment, a time of day, a mood. Fabian portrays an emotional connection through light and shadow and unexpected angles and perspectives. She states, “…I feel the work more than paint the work.  I look to find where the individual fits in their world…..whether that individual is human, horse, object or fantasy.  I live the painting and my satisfaction comes from that.  Each painting is a new adventure, a new story.”  Originally from New Jersey, Fabian says that some of her favorite memories are of spending summers “down the shore.” The viewer is granted an intimate look at a landscape transformed through memory and feeling. 

Patricia Fabian has shown her work widely throughout the United States, with work showing galleries in both New York and Los Angeles. Her work is owned by both private and public collectors.
